Barokes Wines, in participation with Century Wines & Spirits, introduce the new look wine in a can at the 2005 Shout International Beverage Exhibition held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre in Queensland. Barokes wine in a can outsold all other wine and beverage exhibited at the event and generated outstanding consumer interest. View Photos.

Barokes received a Highly Commended Award at the 2005 Food Challenge Awards held in Sydney. Barokes Wine in a Can was one of four finalists in the Alcoholic Beverages category of these awards which acknowledge innovation and quality within the food and beverage industry. View Photos.

Barokes Wine in a Can wins ‘Innovative Packaging’ award at SIAL 2005 dinner. Barokes Wine in a Can was shown at SIAL 2005, a food and beverage show held in Shanghai, China. Significant interest shown in the product is expected to lead to the appointment of a Chinese importer/distributor shortly and the Chinese market opening by the end of 2005. View Photos.
Barokes Wine in a Can is shown at HOFEX 2005 held in Hong Kong, one of biggest food and beverage shows for the hospitality industry in the world. Barokes was one of 100 Australian exhibitors which formed part of the Australian Pavilion organised by Austrade. The Barokes booth was one of the most popular at the show with significant interest shown in Wine in a Can by importer/distributors and retailers from Hong Kong, India, Taiwan and the Philippines. As a result, we expect to develop each of these markets within the next few months through the appointment of importer/distributors. View Photos.

Barokes receives a patent from Japan for its Vinsafe technology. Barokes management are delighted to have received this patent so soon from such an important market for Wine in a Can. The Japanese patent is now the fifth patent received for the Vinsafe technology, following Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Singapore. Patents in a number of other major markets are expected to be granted within the next 12 months under the International Patent Co-operation Treaty.
Barokes Wine in a Can is shown at the Wine & Spirit Wholesaler of America Trade Show held in Orlando, Florida in April, with enormous interest generated from local importers and distributors. As a result we expect Wine in a Can to be available throughout the USA within the next few months. View Photos.

Barokes Wine in a Can now available in the traditional home of wine, Europe! Barokes Wine in a Can was launched in Oil & Vinegar retail outlets throughout Europe during March.. 40 Oil & Vinegar outlets in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany introduced wine in a can to their customers with an outstanding response. European’s acceptance of wine in a can was so unexpected that initial stocks ran out within 6 weeks. View Photos.
