Barokes co-sponsors the opening event of the Nippon Cup (sailing) in Japan. 200 people attended this event which was co-sponsored by HSBC and UBS.

Barokes Wines exhibit Wine in a can™ (Vinsafe®) technology at "Wine Australia 2004". The premier event in the Australian wine industry calender. Peter Scudamore-Smith was in attendance showing Barokes range and talking about the work behind the product. Wine Australia 2004 was staged at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour (SCEC).

Barokes Wine in a can hits the fashion arena on Oaks Day. On Oaks Day Barokes Wines entered Fashions on Field with the beautifully designed hat by Richard Nylon. There were over 350 contestants in the competition and our contestant not only looked beautiful in her hat but also her outfit designed by Gwendolynne. Barokes Wines was very successful winning the Oaks Day Final for 2005 and coming second runner up in the National Fashion on the Fields Awards. Fun was had by all and as you can see our winner looks exquisite with the cleverly crafted wine in a can hat and her elegant outfit. Vinsafe® innovate technology is recognised as ‘cutting edge’ by Japanese fashion industry. Barokes Wines were invited to support a fashion show by designer Yukiko Hanai. In front of 700 attendees made up of Japan’s fashion elite, Wine in a can strengthened it’s reputation as an innovative and prestigious product.
